Day 2 on board the Queen Mary 2. We left NY last evening and almost outran a thunderstorm. Today the weather is beautiful, blue skies, deep blue ocean with losts of whitecaps. We sat in our deck chairs and read this afternnon. This ship is like a floating city, everytime we think we've seen it all we turn the corner and there's something new.
There was a bottle of sparkling wine waiting for us in our stateroom and the a steward dropped off a bottle of wine from our travel agent. We're looking forward to a glass of champagne and caviar in the Veuve Cliquot bar in the next few days.
Tonight is our first formal night, so it's dress up time shortly.
