Land Ho! (almost)

Our last full day on board. The sun peeked through for a moment and then it clouded over again. I saw thet first sign of other human life today - a ship of some kind off in the distance. The first day I saw one dolphin, a sea turtle and bits of seaweed - we were at the northern edge of the Sargasso Sea. Then, the 2nd day, Curtis and I saw two schools (pods?) of dolphins jumping in the distance.

We had a wonderful dinner in the Todd English restaurant the other night and then went back for lunch today. Back to the Britannia dining room tonight and our last dinner with our very enjoyable table companions.

We are now over the Continental shelf in about 480 feet of water - you could almost touch bottom compared to the 14,000 feet just a day earlier. Somewhere on our 2nd or 3rd day, we passed over the Titanic. Very early in the morning we'll be just south of the Isle of Wight and pick up our pilot ship for the last bit to Southampton. This time tomorrow we'll be in London.
