Karen & Curtis Go Country!

Back late last night from the Coachella Valley, we went to the first annual (we hope) Stagecoach Festival. Probably half of what we saw, we'd never heard before. There was mainstream, alt-country, bluegrass, contry rock, you name, it was there. Along with great Western art, memorabilia, trick roping and shooting, incredible Texas barbecue, overpriced beer (but at least there was a good one - Fat Tire), shopping and music, music, and more music. About 70 hours, if you could listen to all 4 stages simultaneously.

On Saturday we saw: the Old 97's, Willie Nelson, Nickel Creek, the Yonder Mountain String Band, the Grascals, Earl Scruggs, Cowboy Nation, Neko Case, Robert Earl Keen ...

On Sunday we saw: Sugarland, Cowboy Celtic, Emmylou Harris, a little of Kenny Chesney (had to get home so we could make it to work today :-( ), Brooks and Dunn, John Doe, Abigail Washburn with the Sparrow Quartet, Gary Allen ...
